During the famed Parade, PVAMU’s performers will also deliver the inaugural performance for the Tournament of Roses Association Rose Parade pilot program to include bands from historically black colleges and universities in the parade each year.
Craig Crason, executive producer of the Honda Battle of the Bands Showcase, helped initiate the HBCU program with the Tournament of Roses Association. In support of HBCU bands, Honda has agreed to sponsor a portion of the funds to ensure PVAMU’s appearance in the 2009 Rose Parade.
