Rotary donatesgift cards

Sometimes one good deed leads to another.

The Seabrook Rotary Club purchased $1,000 in gift cards from Arlan’s Market to donate to Seabrook Intermediate families impacted by Hurricane Ike.

The Rotary’s generosity motivated the grocery store to donate another $500 in gift cards.

The donations were presented to Assistant Principal Laurie Briggs and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Dave O’Neill at the November Seabrook Rotary meeting at the Lakewood Yacht Club.

The gift cards will help families buy groceries during the holidays.
