Jackson Hewitt hold holiday food drive
In the holiday spirit of giving, local Jackson Hewitt offices have partnered with the Houston Food Bank for the Jackson Hewitt Can Feed Houston’s Hungry Food Drive.
All proceeds from this food drive benefit the Houston Food Bank and its nearly 400 hunger relief agencies in more than 18 southeast Texas counties who serve families in need.
With food banks across America experiencing record shortages, local Jackson Hewitt offices are encouraging increased donations and offering a discount on tax preparation fees for those who donate at least three canned goods.
Canned food items can be donated at the Jackson Hewitt Can Feed Houston’s Hungry Food Drive now through Dec. 12 at 326 Southmore in Pasadena, among other offices in the region.
The donations collected during the Jackson Hewitt Can Feed Houston’s Hungry Food Drive will help the Houston Food Bank and its partner agencies serve more than 80,000 people each week.
