Sweet sounds of success for Southmore band students
The Southmore Intermediate School Bulldog Symphonic Band students set a record and won 22 All-District Band seats and 13 All-Region Band seats at the Region 19 All-Region/All-District Band event.
“I am very proud of these students,” said Frank Anderson, Southmore’s director of bands. “They are hard workers and it shows in their accomplishments.”
Members of the All-Region Band include:

Paul Garcia — 1st Chair Flute All-Region Concert Band & All-District Band.
Kassandra Ortiz — 6thth Chair Flute All-Region Concert Band & All-District Band.
Daisy Flores — 11th Chair Flute All-Region Concert Band & All-District Band.
Nallely Gutierrez — 7th Chair Bb Clarinet All-Region Concert Band & All-District Band.
Daniela (Danni) Jauregui — 11th Chair Bb Clarinet All-Region Concert Band & All-District Band.
