Hospital selects new COO

Memorial Hermann Healthcare System announces the appointment of Sean L. Richardson as chief operating officer of Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital. Richardson assumed the COO position on July 21.

As COO, Richardson will provide leadership and oversight for many ancillary and support departments, as well as responsibility for Northeast’s oncology and wound care service lines.

Richardson brings several years of hospital administration experience to Humble, having spent the last seven years working for Health Management Associates Inc.

He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Rotarian and an active Demon Deacon Club member.
